California Adventure

We chose to spend our third day in the California Adventure Park.

On the rave review of blogging friends Patchwork Farm, the Radiator Springs Cars ride was our number one priority.

Despite the 90 minute wait on well-past happy feet and legs, all aches and pains were forgotten the moment we climbed into Lightning McQueen.  What a blast!

When we first started planning our adventure, all talk was about Disney’s Frozen stageshow; it was getting rave reviews but we worried it would be finished before we visited.

It lived up to all the hype and then some – and don’t tell anyone, but even The Bean Counter sung along in the finale.

California Adventure is amazing;

it has a huge variety of rides from the tame to the hair-raising but for us it still was a unanimous decision to spend our last day in Disneyland. Farm Girl summed it up perfectly:

“California Adventure is fun but it’s still just a theme park; in Disneyland I feel like I’m in a movie.”

Walt Disney knew what he was doing!

  1. I just love Disneyland! Being a native Californian, I am blessed to have visited there five times. In fact, Disneyland was one of the stops on my honeymoon 41 years ago! I’m glad you are having a good time, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.
