Today was ear-marked for catching those favourite rides for one last time; The Teacups, Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Mark Twain riverboat, the carousel and my favourite: New Orleans Square.
We also had Mickey’s Soundsational Parade,
and the fireworks display
to see which, as with all things Disney, were sublime, faultless…and great fun.
Then, with heavy hearts but growing excitement, we paid one last pie visit to Cocos, coaxed our worn out feet and aching legs back to the hotel, and threw our suitcases together before falling into bed.
Good bye, USA.
Next stop: Dover.
Hope the journey went smoothly, welcome to London.
The journey went beautifully, Heathrow provided us with much entertainment (standing in those lines presents wonderful eavesdropping opportunities) but our London visit was fleeting; just long enough to pick up the hire car. We return for a week in mid October. See you then 🙂
Welcome to Britain.
Thank you. She is putting on her best face for us…so far 🙂
Glad your journey went well. Enjoy yourself in Britain – we have rain to greet you with!
Maybe we’ve had a drop or two along the way, but it’s also been very warm
Wrong time zone again, sigh 🙂
But still – England! London! Jamie Oliver!
And on our bucket list: Vancouver Island…one day 🙂
Enjoy your time in Britain. Glad you are finding it warm!
It’s been unbelievably warm…no need for long sleeves let alone jackets!
