Every year around this time – for the last three at least – we’ve wondered aloud over the chances of the square goat shelter (its official title) surviving the winter.

It’s a firm favourite with the girls, I think mainly because of its proximity to the hayfeeder and, as such, has had a great many DIY repairs but there comes a point when pins must be pulled. ‘Twere the walls stronger the writing would be well and truly on them.

With all due respect, Sandra,

I think that depends on how you look at it.

The word ramshackle comes to mind but I suppose that it should be goatshackle.
Totally goatshackle 😂
It does look a little rickety.
Just a little 😊
One day, you will wander out to find a pile of timber in the paddock where the square goat shelter used to be. You will also probably find a group of disgruntled goats glaring at you.
