Guess who visited the Kirsten the Vet today for their kennel cough vaccine
and guess who stayed home.
Colin is unimpressed. He knows just how joyous and treat laden those visits can be. And then she comes home licking her chops and full of “funny stories”
He should have known something devious was in the works when he saw the balloon was up.

In general, my dogs have been loathe to go to the vet whether or not treats were on offer. Chilli stoically endures the experience and refuses all treats. One dog loved going to the vet, happily greeting everybody and staring pointedly at the drawer where the treats were kept in the treatment room.
Colin, after a clumsy vet visit, hated it. He was really scared. The vets asked if they could work on redressing it and, after three free visits, its one if his favourite places.
