I Don’t Like Moth-Day

Often Mondays get a bad rap; today, for me, it lived up to the stereotype..

I blame too little sleep….and a rouge moth.

I never sleep well when The Bean Counter has to pull a night shift but I’d made my list, it wasn’t going to throw me. All felt on target; the menagerie, at feed time, were kind, the sun was shining, the way forward was uncluttered.

Time to hang up the washing but the forecast was ambiguous. Inside or outside? What does the weather station say? Which is where the moth made its presence known by, as I tipped my head to study the wind direction, heading straight into the back of my throat. Even then I was okay. These things happen.

And then I sneezed. The feeling of that powdery, sizable insect working its way through my nasal passages was too much for my sleepy brain..

Nope.

Everything can wait. Im hunkering down – just me and my dogs

I don’t like moth-day.

  1. What a surprise for both of you with the day taking an unexpected turn of events! You had an unwelcome guest wandering around in your head whilst the bemused moth found itself in a strange alien environment.
