After a bit of remote shepherding

we started our penultimate day with a 77 floor elevator trip to the observation deck of Q1, Australia’s tallest building. You could see quite a lot from up there.




Then we ambled around the streets, picking up a few goodies to prove we’d been here before, after discovering the promised pancake eatery had closed last month, lunching in a place with a decent view of it’s own.

we then spent the afternoon in the pool and lolling around reflecting on our holiday and pondering how to spend our final day.
I think we’ve come up with a plan more exciting than attempting to get everything back into the suitcases.


The remote shepherding must have been nervous work. I am sorry about the lack of pancakes.
We found a very suitable pancake substitute and Cousin Lucas was more than capable he just didn’t want to attack the feeder without my okay
It is good that you had a reliable paddock sitter.
Whilst it is not my idea of Paradise, I am glad you enjoyed the visit to Surfers. I like to visit HOTA – the home of the arts which, if my family is anything to go by, has caused a bit of a stir and controversy locally.
It is an interesting place; a bit too “racy and cool” to be my idea of paradise as well.
