We had a week of rain when we went away in our caravan in the middle of September. We were resigned and did our best to enjoy ourselves. Since our return the weather has improved a lot. Typical! I am sorry your spring is so wet and gloomy.
Today, Castlemaine enjoyed the novelty of steady rain for a few hours during the night and morning. To date we have had little in the way of autumn, winter and spring rain. The dams in the paddocks which should be brimming at this time of year are low in water. I hope we receive more spring rain – enough to top up our waterways and dams. The irony is New South Wales and Queensland have been awash with water this year.

Sorry you got rain for your holiday. We’ve had a lovely Spring so far (discounting the usual blusters) so we really have nothing to complain about
