Bite Sized Post #3 – A Fleeting, Bleating Visit

Shaun the Shearer is all booked in and we’ve got until October 2nd to move the flock two paddocks – through the back paddock to the one containing the pen.

Today was step one.

Eleven sheep and eleven of the most gorgeous, laid back, happy lambs have now taken up temporary residence in the back paddock. A week of nibbling the grass down and then they’re through to the “official” sheep paddock.

Job’s a good’un.

    • I actually do have a spinning wheel but am so very uncoordinated my attempts are frightening. I usually keep one fleece for felting/crafty stuff/the garden or whatever and the rest is taken by the shearer – it keeps the price down a bit. All the dags go into the compost 😊
