Sage Words – Spring Miracles

It seems that while we were busy incubating bugs and sifting through fifty plus years of shared lives in preparation for The Elder’s house sale on Thursday, Spring miraculously snuck in.

She’s even prettied up round the rubbish bins and loaded the nectarine tree with promises…

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle ~ Albert Einstein

and one day I will manage to photograph our sage words without catching myself in the reflection. Now, THAT would be a miracle 🙂

Happy Spring/Autumn/Fall to you all.

  1. I don’t envy you clearing the parental home in preparation for its sale – for some it can be quite an emotional experience, packing up someone’s life.
    May the nectarines be abundant.

    • Nectarines are the one fruit everyone on the Homestead loves so lets hope the little tree delivers; it’s renowned for punching above it’s weight!
I find the decision making tied up in the clearing out very difficult.

    • The days are definitely getting longer here and whilst I’m not a fan of super hot weather, I’m looking forward to not having to lug the firewood inside each morning.

  2. Clearing houses is a horrible job – especially when the owner is still around but can’t help with the decision making. We had to do that very thing nearly 2 years ago for my mother-in-law. I am glad the days are getting longer for you and Spring has arrived to cheer you all.
