This John Lennon quote, accompanied by home made ice cream affogatos and with the quoter’s greatest hits playing in the background, was just what the doctor ordered.
You don’t need anybody to tell you who you are, or what you are. You are what you are!
But trying to be one of those perceived better alternatives can send you slightly crazy. I try and remind myself of this in times of crisis; better the devil you know and all that
I totally agree.
So true – because who decides what I say is right or not!!!
Still love yay what ever you do, are or say. Even after 25yrs plus as friends there is still a lot of loving to do, even if it is from a distance :-0

🙂 right back at ya! X
Great advice! Be true to yourself.
I don’t much fancy being what I am but I just have to put up with it. There are many better alternatives to me out there.

I could have tried a bit harder on my way but I am resigned now.
I had to look up affogato…but now I know, I’d say good medicine indeed. With regard to your quote, Popeye comes to mind – “I yam what I yam”.
Excellent medicine, expecially with a glug of butterscotch liqueur. Dear Popeye, wise ‘to da finach; 🙂
I am happy I got to know you and that you are who you are ;0) xo Johanna
Thanks so much, as usual,Johanna for you heartwarming, lovely words. Life is much better this week 🙂
