It was just me and the menagerie on the Homestead this morning. Farm Girl has an eight am lecture on Wednesdays so she and The Engineer spend Tuesday nights at the City Campus. While we woke to a balmy 3°C, they endured a -5°C frost.

Snow was definitely not far away.
Colin, Shirley, Babette and I decided, with our snow a little more distant, to take our morning coffee in the paddock.

Tucked behind the house to avoid the wind, of course

Beautiful if chilly views! Smart to enjoy your coffee out of the wind.
I hope that you get many more such days to enjoy coffee outside.
Me, too!
I am grateful snow is not part of Castlemaine winters.
Its not really part of ours either so when it does happen its a big deal
