The day, as it should, started with cake ordered via the wonder of the internet from a shop just round the corner from our accommodation,

Then a morning spent exploring Chinatown where purchases were made, temples visited, and food eaten

We had booked a slot to visit the Sky Garden on the 51st floor of the CapitaSpring building but then the clouds rolled in and put paid to that

We sheltered in a Public Gathering Area and then mall hopped to our next appointment

The Bean Counter’s birthday meal with a million dollar view, where the cocktails cost as much as the meals and might have gone to the birthday boy’s head. The Farmer chose a mocktail.
Then off to Gardens by the Bay again for their Christmas Show which was

Indescribable! Lights, carols, and even a snow flurry (in 30 degree heat with 93% humidity). Singapore, you know how to turn it on for our humble Birthday Boy.
