Morning tea today, with a different outlook.

It was a chore heavy day and so a closer venue was preferable, both in the interests of energy conservation and in ear protection. Our new neighbours are building a pole shed at the moment and Shirley finds it difficult to understand where our place ends and theirs begins. Morning tea in the paddock closest to the action would be a noisy affair.
The Engineer and Farm Girl had, we think, their last university meeting today sussing out the labs and trouble shooting potential problems so it was just the dogs and I for the best part of the day

Colin felt we should take it easy; Shirley tried to tow the line.
and, as the girls are staying at the Urban Campus tonight, just me and this bloke on the Homestead tonight.

In three days time we will have been married for 38 years. Thirty eight!!
I reckon we both did pretty well out of the deal.

Thirty eight years is admirable.
It just happened while we were busy getting on with life 😊
🙂
Congratulations!
Thank you
I am sure there will be a suitable celebration to mark the occasion.
We’re not very good at celebrating anniversaries. I did buy a packet of ginger kisses; we halved it 😁 Does that count?
