Homestead happiness was uppermost on all our minds this week; we’re sick of wallowing.
So, when we spotted the movie Hector and the Search for Happiness playing on Sky movies we thought it worth a watch, although we weren’t really expecting that much. In fact, it turned out to be a nice little hunk of escapism and just what the doctor ordered. Central to the plot are a plethora of quotes Hector gathers from various unlikely places, all around the theme of happiness.
Today, to go with baked cheesecake and a purpose-made soundtrack, The Renovator chose one of them:

What a comfortable, comforting post! Soppy is fine by me. The film sounds like something we might like to watch and I enjoyed quite a lot of the soundtrack too. Have a good week!
