The clocks went back over the weekend.

Dusk arrives as I’m preparing dinner now and all the chickens are back to sleeping in their house at night.

But the biggest sign autumn is here in the Homestead driveway. It’s’ fair glowing.

Autumn, beautiful autumn. Or fall as we call it here.
I think its my favourite season…a bit of garden abundance and a slow down in urgent chores. If it ain’t done, it can wait for Spring
I don’t like to think about autumn! I just hope we get a summer before our autumn arrives.
Me too as ours was fair to middling at best and Im planning on enjoying yours as compensation ๐
We are due a good summer.
Our clocks went forward ten days ago and I still haven’t got used to the hour change. Your driveway is glorious!
Thank you. I think it’s still a wee way to go. The Liquidambars are how I identified our house when we first moved in. At night I was lost ๐

Autumn is tinging the leaves here too. I am not a fan of the nights closing in earlier and earlier as we drift towards the winter solstice.
I try to be philosophical about it but Im not the greatest fan of it, either
