Slow Down Sunday – Bounty

While not a record-breaker, the walnut tree is doing it’s thing which means, if we want a future including pesto and dukkah and proper what I grew up calling afghan biscuits but have been renamed milk chocolate roughs, the nuts need to be picked up, shelled, and tucked away in the freezer. Not my favourite job

But little by little every day, as the saying goes, a little becomes a lot and I am very partial to homemade walnut dukkah.
