A bit of a lazy start to the chores, and then lunch at Casa Kimberley. Beautiful day, beautiful food, beautiful company.
Then home to;:
✓mow the lawns
✓finish the second headboard-from-a-door
✓take another step in the tea trolley restoration
✓tackle some Eng101 work

A busy day for humans! For dogs, a time to play and rest.

Today was good…a rare sunny day after a few days of high winds (90km ish) and rain. Dives into a new book, with a hot cuppa and hot cross bun. Spent the afternoon at a wedding shower for a friend’s daughter…and got to catch up with mums and daughters I hadn’t seen since they all finished high school a decade ago. (A decade? Really?). Leftovers for supper and a board game, finishing off with an episode of Poirot.
Sounds like a wonderful day! I remember the shock of discovering it had been a decade since I left school. Life marches on ☺️
I hope you are enjoying the way the tea trolley is revealing itself as the layer of blue paint is removed.
I keep expecting the reason it was painted to reveal itself….a stain or something…but so far its looking fantastic
