Red Mist and Echinacea

I am full of anger. I don’t like being like this but what can you do?

I’m the kind of angry that springs from another’s thoughtlessness at best but, in this case, selfishness has my vote.

I can’t even say much but it involves The Bean Counter who headed down the drive towards work at 7.23 this morning (I checked the camera – that’s how angry I am) and then found out at 4pm that he has no choice but to work the nightshift (11pm to 6am) because .. well, I can’t say why.

He’s currently at the City Campus trying to switch his brain off in order to stockpile some sleep in preparation and here on the Homestead,,,well, as you can tell I’m seething.

Oh, and here’s the first ever echinacea I’ve managed to coax into bloom after literal decades (we sold the site of my first attempt in 1994) of trying..

Through the red mist, to me it looks beautiful.
