We are in the horrible position of possibly having lost a cat.
Babette was here yesterday morning but is now nowhere to be seen. To be honest, we probably wouldn’t even know – shes a lady who dances to her own tune, makes up her own rules, and comes and goes as she pleases – except there was an altercation between possum and cat in the early hours so this morning we were on the lookout.

Oh come on, Babette, show your face! It’s not funny, anymore.

Oh no!!! Fingers crossed they return.
Thank you.
Oh no….but farm cats …as you say, they walk through the wild wet woods their own way, to misquote Kipling. The fisticuffs with the possum may have sent her into hiding for a bit. Keep looking….
They are a law unto themselves; we’re still full of hope. She brought a rabbit inside on Saturday and the cats have cleared our property of them. My bet is, with the recent downpours, shes located some rich hunting grounds.
That sounds possibly promising.
Channelling Eric Idle at the moment 😊
Anxiety over a missing cat? I know the feeling.
We’re still waiting and hoping…
