BSP #73 – Hay!

I’ve been a little remiss recently; there’s been a distinct dip in the level of goat news. It’s simply that our goat girls are incredibly easy going and, as long as they have their very specific requirements met, roll along in a very content but un-newsworthy manner.

But there was a problem with their abode that required rectifying before they were left in the care of Cousin Lucas. Over time, their enthusiasm for the daily hay ration had taken its toll on in their hayfeeder so that its lid was not only detached but also buried under several weeks of hay deemed unpalatable.

Today, with a replaced nut and bolt, a well placed bungy cord, and some vigorous hammer action we put it right.

We might even clean up the spurned hay island before Homestead holiday handover but, let’s be honest, probably not.
