comes from some other beginning’s end
Yep, I’m yodelling again as I potter through my Friday. This time it’s Closing Time by Semisonic (1998); it just seems apt for Farm Girl’s last ever day of school.

A lot has happened in the intervening five years.
But all of it is not a patch on the amazing stuff that’s still out there, bobbing on the horizon waiting to be lived into existence.
Happy end of school days, Farm Girl. Good luck for your exams (not that you need it – you’ve put the graft in), be proud, walk tall, and always be yourself.
You’ve got this!

Congratulations Farm Girl! The end of just the opening chapter in a lifetime of striving and adventure and achievement, and living life!
Thanks on FG’s behalf. Life is exciting and terrifying in equal measures at the moment.
May she achieve even more than she thinks that she can.
Amen to that!
It’s amazing the transformation which happens between early secondary schooling to the final year – from being a child to a young adult! Good luck to Farm Girl as she progresses to the next stage of life.
Its a massive change. No wonder they can get a little lost along the way!
