First up today was a paddock move for the sheep.

They’ve nibbled their current one down enough but not too far as to rule out it producing a few bales come haying time and were very happy with a move to pastures new.
The fallen tree has been turned into next year’s firewood.

It was very dead so will need no seasoning before it’s added to the pile.

Then, while investigating the quality of the remaining hay bales, The Bean Counter made two discoveries
- The hay has weathered winter without incident is still well fit for purpose, and
- Our lost chook!

Snuggled down between the bales, Little Olive is set on hatching out another generation of coop residents. Yay!

She is in fact ‘setting”! Glad you found her!
So am I. I’m a little ashamed that I had already searched the hay barn for her but my fear of rodents stops me from poking amongst the bales
The lost has been found! Yay!
I’m ridiculously joyous; I was sure a predator had got her.
Yay!!!!
What a happy discovery.
Such a relief!
