Looking up from filling the chickens water this morning, I saw something I’d never seen before.

Well, maybe I have – seen it before, that is – but I’ve never really looked at it. In the past it would have just been the backdrop of a glance to determine what farm machine that was rumbling past or to count the flock.
I may have looked a little odd just standing, staring but it struck me as quite a pleasant scene; sky and trees, shelterbelt and livestock. I commented thus to the chickens.

They didn’t care; they see it every day.

A case of familiarity breeding contempt among the chickens?
I think so; chickens are like that 😁
A lovely view, but the chickens have more important matters to attend to.
So they keep telling me 😊
It can be delightful really ‘seeing’ something, usually familiar, for the first time. You have a very handsome collection of poultry.
It was the strangest thing looking up and simply seeing it when it’s been there the whole time. Yes, I’m quite proud of my present flock
