Last night, our clocks went forward an hour for what we call Daylight Savings; Spring forward and all that.
Although I know it really upsets some people but my brain struggles to work out the implications of it all, especially now all but two of our timepieces figure it out without any input from me. The same can be said for the menagerie

for whom it was breakfast time, same as any other day, when my phone told me to haul my boots on and head out to the paddocks.

Nope, no complaints lodged regarding daylight hours from any homesteaders.
Ask us again in six months time.

Putting the clocks back, as we say, in the autumn is a real pain and doesn’t suit me at all so I wish that they would leave them the same all year.
It does make winter arrive with a resounding crash.
I never mind springing ahead, but I sure mind turning the clocks back and losing that hour of light.
That falling back ain’t so much fun!
You got that right!
