I’ve been busy.
I don’t agree with the idea of winter being slower; the chores are just different. That’s not a complaint – more a kind-of excuse.
But to show you all Im still here, I thought Id share my morning tea with you.

All is good. Hope it’s the same for you

For our family, winter is slower, but we don’t have a farm. Also, we gets lots of snow, so that might make a difference. Anyway, nice to hear from you.
I am always in awe of those who live in snowy places. Here, everything screeches to a halt at the faintest hint of it!
I was born here, grew up here, and have lived in Maine for all but a short time when I was in college. To me, snow and winter go together. But I think it’s all what a person gets used to. Of course, many Mainers, when they retire, head for warmer climes in the winter. Not everyone shares my enthusiasm for winter. π
Good to hear from you…been wondering! But I agree, winter is still busy, just a different rhythm
A combination of many inside jobs, a winter that still allowed me to function outside, and a touch of not being keen on the state of the world, really. I like the different rhythms; it keeps things intereesting
Howdy. What variety of tea do you like best?
My “morning tea” is actually coffee π but I enjoy a green tea first and last thing and a fruit tea (currently enjoying plum and boysenberry) for afternoon tea.
It is good to hear from you, even in a bite sized portion. Being busy sounds interesting so I hope that it has been ‘good busyness’, not the bad sort that is forced on you by fate.
Theres been a sprinkling of fate-forced but mostly good stuffπ
Good to hear.
