They’re Home (aka Change # 1)

They did it!

After near on two years dwelling in a caravan and sleepout in the side paddock – two years of having their home spread between several different shelters and the subsequent uncomfortable inclement-weather-sprints – The Princess and The Farmer have only gone and done it!

Getting their hands on the keys

What’s more, the new abode with it’s three bedrooms, cosy lounge with logburner, menagerie-sized backyard and all over funky feel that shrieks that this place was theirs before they even knew it existed, is only a five minute drive from the Homestead.

That goes a long way to placating my pesky melancholy at the end of an era

So, please excuse this hurriedly dashed out post as we’ve been busy helping with the relocation; a move which one of our number is not sure should have been allowed to happen

but feels he could, at a pinch, get used to spending time on their sofa

Super huge, you so deserve it, congratulations and a hearty hooray on your new home, to The Princess and The Farmer

Tiny Housers no more

  1. Woohoo, you did it! Congratulations you two, you have worked hard and so deserve your lovely new home. It looks awesome and you will love having your own space to do what you like with. Can’t wait to get a squiz at your cool new place. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

    • Not really.. as a family we’ll still be neck-deep in each other’s lives but it does mean they have their feet firmly on the first step of the property ladder and that’s cause for celebration 😊

    • I guess he’d already flown…just as far as the paddock – now he’s down the road 😊. The two of them worked hard, went without and saved hard…and were also realistic about their goal. Downsizing…nope, I’m not ready to think about that yet
