Soggy Goat Solution

After a town day yesterday during which I finally finished organising my google photos and then, over our customary super-extended lunch, teamed with The Cat Burglar in an attempt to organise our world (but once again neglected to take even one  photograph of proceedings), it was back to business today.

The goats were top of the list; it seems my smugness over all being well in the paddocks was a tad premature. Yes, there is ample shelter in the goat paddock

but Marilyn likes to sleep stretched out of a rainy night, she tells me. The others were simply cramping her style.

There’s nothing more miserable than a wet goat – except, maybe, four wet goats. Something needed to be done.

The new, admittedly rudimentary, shelter did come with some creature comforts like a bucketful of last season’s hay; just the thing to warm up a wet goat from the inside out.

“Did someone mention hay?”
