Those Homesteaders heading for inside workplaces tomorrow have mixed feelings about the sun finally showing up today. The forecast says it’s going to stick around for a while, too.

I’m just happy to get the washing hung outside. Tea towels need sunshine to dry properly in my humble opinion; they’re sharing line space with the last of the holiday washing.

Today, The Bean Counter received a well overdue tidy up from The Homestead Hair Shack so as to not scare any workmates.

So, the work duds are clean and pressed, holiday locks have been tamed, the cars have even been washed, and my gammy leg is well on the road to recovery…

2026: I reckon we’re ready!
